Description: In this talk, we take a journey into the pandas API. The focus will be on identifying common issues that, on the surface, seem to be efficient but, in reality, are not. For each of these, we will demonstrate the proper use of the APIs with some performance comparisons. Hopefully, you can learn from my experience and avoid driving your code into performance pot-holes.
